M\u00eame si le mois de janvier arrive \u00e0 sa fin nous vous souhaitons une bonne ann\u00e9e pour les onze mois qui restent et esp\u00e9rons que le programme de ce premier trimestre 2025 vous int\u00e9ressera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notre premier rendez-vous \u00e9tait fix\u00e9 au vendredi 24 janvier et consacr\u00e9 \u00e0 Winston Churchill en partenariat avec l’UIAD. Susan Blatt\u00e8s, professeur \u00e9m\u00e9rite en \u00e9tudes anglophones et vice-pr\u00e9sidente de l’Alliance Grenoble-Oxford, a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 cette conf\u00e9rence bilingue qui a remport\u00e9 un grand succ\u00e8s. Deux salles ont \u00e9t\u00e9 n\u00e9cessaires pour accueillir tout le public avec une retransmission dans la deuxi\u00e8me salle. Les professeurs d’anglais de l’UIAD avaient pr\u00e9par\u00e9 le sujet avec leurs \u00e9l\u00e8ves. Compte tenu de l’affluence nous envisageons de proposer \u00e0 nouveau ce sujet dans les prochains mois.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le vendredi 14 f\u00e9vrier nous serons heureux de vous accueillir dans la crypte situ\u00e9e 12 rue Joseph Chanrion d\u00e8s 20h pour une soir\u00e9e sur le th\u00e8me de l\u2019\u00c9cosse et tout particuli\u00e8rement de ses danses. Le groupe “O’Celtish”<\/em> de douze instrumentistes de l\u2019\u00c9cole de Musique de L’Oisans dirig\u00e9 par Victoria accompagnera cette soir\u00e9e. Jacques Arnoud guidera les danseurs d\u00e9butants ou confirm\u00e9s pour r\u00e9aliser les figures propres \u00e0 chaque danse. L’apprentissage est toujours un moment plein d’entrain et de fous rires. Tartes aux pommes et cidre viendront compl\u00e9ter ce moment convivial. Nous esp\u00e9rons vous y voir nombreux. Apr\u00e8s le beau succ\u00e8s du Messie de Haendel donn\u00e9 par l’Ensemble Vocal Interlude et l’East Oxford Community Choir, accompagn\u00e9s par l’Ensemble instrumental Ad Libitum, quatre solistes et dirig\u00e9s par Dexter Drown, chef d’orchestre oxfordien, qui ont rempli l\u2019\u00c9glise St Jean, puis ont chant\u00e9 ensemble \u00e0 Oxford, nous aurons le plaisir d’entendre les 15 et 16 mars l’Ensemble vocal Variations de Grenoble et le Byrd Choir d’Oxford sur un programme d\u2019\u0153uvres du XVIe si\u00e8cle. Vous recevrez les pr\u00e9cisions sur l’heure et le lieu d\u00e8s qu’elles seront connues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Au mois d’avril nous suivrons attentivement la programmation du cin\u00e9ma Path\u00e9-Chavant pour r\u00e9server une soir\u00e9e consacr\u00e9e \u00e0 un film r\u00e9cemment sorti et dont le sujet sera en lien avec les centres d’int\u00e9r\u00eat de l’AGO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le mois de mai \u00e9tant riche en ponts c’est le dimanche 22 juin que nous proposerons un nouveau concert consacr\u00e9 \u00e0 un compositeur fran\u00e7ais : Gabriel Faur\u00e9. C’est son Requiem qui sera programm\u00e9 avec l’Ensemble Vocal Interlude et l’East Oxford Community Choir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

N’oubliez pas les duos bilingues qui vous permettent de parler en anglais et en fran\u00e7ais entre Oxfordiens et Grenoblois selon le rythme qui vous convient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le temps est venu de renouveler votre adh\u00e9sion et n’oubliez pas que le conseil d’administration de l’AGO dispose d’une commission technique qui vous permet \u00e0 tout moment de rejoindre l’association pour y mettre en \u0153uvre de nouveaux projets, ou pour soutenir des projets existants en lien avec Oxford,\u00a0 comme celui intitul\u00e9 “Des chasseurs-cueilleurs aux chefs \u00e9toil\u00e9s, une alimentation en transition” sur lequel nous commen\u00e7ons \u00e0 travailler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
