For the last eighteen months now, each Friday morning, Gerard and I we met via two zoom sessions, one in English and one in French. Each week it’s with a real pleasure that we exchange on topics as varied as news in our countries, comments on a film or a press article but sometimes also a comparison of specific expressions in our languages. This exchange is very rich for me and even if I still probably make many mistakes in the language of Shakespear, I’m more confident and more spontaneous to speak.

Gerard and I are looking forward meeting face to face at some stage.

Many thanks to Alliance Grenoble/Oxford for this genius formula of duos.
